While a long-term solution is being sought for Kenora’s Emergency Shelter, comes word that temporary beds will be available for the next week.
Kenora-MPP Greg Rickford says the Kenora District Services Board will ensure beds at the basement of Knox United Church will remain available throughout next week
Meanwhile, additional beds will be available at the Kenora Fellowship Centre.
Today was supposed to be the first day the emergency shelter was closed and 45 days have been given to come up with a plan going forward.
