Celebrating the life and legacy of Yvonne Lorraine Charlie. Born February 18, 1942, in MacDiarmid, Ontario.  Passed peacefully after a lengthy illness on April 14, 2026, with her family by her side.  Her greatest joy was her family and the many gatherings they shared together.  Some of her favourite past times were playing cards with her sisters, camping in Grand Bay and Flat Land with family doing puzzles and colouring.

She was predeceased by her husband Harvey Charlie, daughter Renee, son Lance, granddaughters Larissa and Cassandra, mother and father Bernard and Lyla Morriseau, brothers Joe, William, Richard, Larry, David and Bruce, sisters Rajanne, Annette and Mary, and great grandson Noah.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children  Karen (Tim), Denise (Guy), Andrea (Rolland), Jeffrey (Roberta), Valerie (Allan), Paul (Tammy), Nick, Marcie, Melissa, and Jenny, granddaughters Brandy (Cory), Carla, Julie (Mike), Brittany, Abby, Emma, Jenna, Natosha, Hillary, and Mary, grandsons Justin, Travis, Matthew, Harvey, Cory, Jeffrey, Ryland and Joseph (Jessica), great grandchildren Kailer, Jovi, Kierstyn, Ivy, Blair, Katerina, Matty, Trinity, Brodie, Sophie, Quinn, Holden, Levi, Charlotte, Isabel, Nakina, Adam, Amelia, Annabeth, Ryan (Myra), Jayce, Trevor, Jeff, Michael, Bohdi, Nate, Matthew, Marcus, Shelby, Casey, Ryder and Kalem great great-grandson Keller.  She is also survived by sisters Linda, Donna (Maurice), Paulette (Dennis), Joanne (Brian), brothers Ronald, Paul (Faye), Peter, James, Greg (Liz) and Dan (Kelly).

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2026, when family and friends will gather in St. Anne’s R.C. Church for Funeral Mass beginning at 11:00 am, celebrated by Rev. Biju Matthew.  Arrangements entrusted to the Blake Funeral Chapel, 200 May Street S.
