Youth Fusion Students Showcased

Local youth will be showing off their hard work tonight during a community showcase.

Youth Fusion spokesperson Scotia Biloski tells us students from six programs will be highlighting their year-long school projects.

“Short films from our cinema project at Ecole Gron Morgan. Video games from Hammarskjold and Superior, they have worked on them since October. Three environmental design projects from the students at Armstrong Public School, Mattawa Learning Centre and Ogden Public Community School.”

This is the second year the charity has worked in northwestern Ontario. The non-profit brings hands-on learning experiences into the schools in a hope to keep students interested in learning.

You can check out their creative work by visiting Confederation College from 4:00 pm until 6:30 pm.

This event is a regional celebration, in partnership with 99.9 The Bay and Country 105, as well as many other sponsors.
