The Coalition for Waverly Park wants to see a Victorian-style pavilion on the site of the old bandshell.
The group asked Council to approve funding, in the ballpark of up to 200 thousand dollars, for the pavilion’s construction in next year’s budget.
City administration says there’s nothing in the 2016 budget at this point.
A report on the feasibility of building a pavilion next year is expected back to councilors in January.
