Provincial Police are investigating after a body was found in Kenora.
Paramedics found the person in the 200 block of First Street South and alerted police around 9:30 Sunday morning. The person was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy is scheduled in Toronto later this week to determine the cause of death. Although they are not confirming the cause of death until then, OPP suggest it may be related to an overdose.
Police are again warning people about the harmful effects of a drug called “yellow down” or “purple down” that is believed to contain fentanyl.
