Volunteers, City To Plan Fountain Repairs

A volunteer group will continue talks with the city to try to fix the fountain in Waverly Park.

Council decided Monday that city staff will come back by September with a plan for repairs.

The Coalition for Waverly Park made a presentation to Council asking for help figuring out how the work can be done on the fountain which dates back to 1790.

The Coalition notes the work will be expensive but they don’t know the exact cost.
