Thunder Bay Man To Answer For Drug Charges

A 45 year old due back in court, facing drug related charges.

Police conducting the stop of the vehicle going over the speed limit around 4:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Fort William Road area near the Harbour Expressway.

Officers found out the man was wanted by other police services, so they arrested him.

In a subsequent search of his car, officers obtained suspect crystal meth, suspected fentanyl, cash and paraphernalia.

The accused faces charges of:

  • Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of Heroin for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago.
