The province’s civilian police watchdog is investigating a weekend incident in Westfort.
Police say they responded to a call about some unwanted people at a West Frederica Street apartment on Saturday evening. Police say that during the process a 20 year old man was hurt when he fell from the apartment window. He was taken the the Health Sciences Centre for treatment.
Because he was injured in the course of a police probe, the Special Investigations Unit must look into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
