A case involving the July 2013 traffic deaths of two Ottawa area cross Canada cyclists is now complete.
69 James Maxwell of Texas has been fined 25 hundred dollars after being convicted of Careless Driving in connection with the tragedy. The victims were a 65 year old man and 69 year old woman from Glengarry who were passing through Red Rock on Highway 11-17 at the time with a group of 25 other cyclists.
Police say the couple were hit by a pick up truck.
