Senate Passes National Hunting Day

The Senate is making the third Saturday in September National Hunting, Trapping and Fishing Heritage Day.
Bill C-501 received Royal Assent at the beginning of the month.
The new law recognizes the important role that hunting, fishing and trapping have had in the development of Canada as a nation, and how important these activities remain for our economy and recreation.
