It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Gordon Russell Stephenson, on February 1, 2026, at the age of 77. His childhood was spent in Rosslyn village, where he attended elementary school and graduated from Westgate CVI; then graduated from LU (Forestry). He proudly served the City of Thunder Bay as a member of the Fire Department from 1974 to 2005. He is survived by wife Marilyn (nee Elvish) son Murray (Alison) Grandchildren Brooklyn & Austin, Great-grandchildren Annabelle and Scarlett. Brother Percy (Sonja) Sister Darlene (Bob). Gordon is predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Valerie Stephenson
