July 7, 1983 – November 4, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bobby Daniel Gagnon, age 42 years, peacefully with family by his side in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.

Bobby was born in Geraldton, Ontario on July 7, 1983 to Raymond Gagnon and Wanda Baxter. Despite having Spina Bifida, Bobby never let his condition stop him. He lived his life the best he could. Bobby was a happy man and was always laughing. He had an aura about him that could light up a room, and he made friends everywhere he went. Bobby enjoyed playing his games, watching movies and TV, and the occasional trip to the casino. Bobby’s big heart and soft demeanour will be deeply missed by all.

Bobby is survived by his mother Wanda and father Raymond; his siblings Batoche William Gilbert Gagnon (SherraLyn Allen), Tina Baxter and twins, Dale and Dawn Durocher, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Barbara and Gilbert Baxter and William and Rosemarie Gagnon.

Funeral Services for the late Mr. Bobby Gagnon will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at 11:00am in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James. Interment will take place in Sunset Memorial Gardens on Monday morning, leaving the Chapel at 9:00am in procession to the cemetery for the graveside service at 9:30am.
