Museum To Reopen With Restrictions

You’ll be able to visit the Thunder Bay Museum at the end of this month, but you’ll have to make an appointment.

It will open its doors June 29th.

Museum officials say they need to limit the amount of visitors in the building to follow provincial regulations.

You’ll have to answer screening questions about COVID-19 symptoms, wear a mask, and keep your distance from others.

The museum has also blocked off its benches, water fountains, interactive displays and all but one public washroom.

Access to the 2nd and 3rd floors will only be available by elevator, the stairwell will be for staff only.

If you want to buy something from the gift shop, you’ll only be able to use debit or credit card.

Officials add they will keep an eye on the status of the pandemic, and constantly clean commonly-touched surfaces.
