LU Recovering From Online Attack

Some services are back online as Lakehead University bounces back from a recent cyber-attack.

The university says most of its online communication and instructional platforms are working again.

It announced the attack last week, and has extended its winter study week so the school and students can make up for lost time.

Classes will resume this Friday.

The school says that any further decisions about its academic calendar will be forthcoming after discussions with faculties and the university’s Senate.
