A pair of northwest Ontario women are the lucky winners of two recent OLG prizes.
Geneva Mekbeb of Thunder Bay won $200,000 with her THE BIG SPIN INSTANT ticket, saying she was overwhelmed to learn she’d won.
“This whole experience has been euphoric – I feel so fortunate. I am blessed beyond anything,” she told OLG, adding she plans to use her winnings to pay for her son’s education.
She bought her ticket at Mac’s on Arthur Street.
Meanwhile, a Longlac woman is $50,000 richer thanks to her INSTANT QUEST FOR GOLD CROSSWORD win.
Veronica Chapais bought her ticket in Longlac, and says part of the money will buy her son a new truck.
