A longtime local morning show host has died.
Lisa Laco’s family posted to Facebook that she passed away today at the age of 64.
She joined the CBC morning show in Thunder Bay as a producer in the early 90’s, before moving on to host the show until her retirement earlier this year.
A bursary has been established in Lisa’s name at Dennis Franklin Cromarty School, and her family asks you to consider donating in her memory in lieu of sending flowers.
Donations can be made to the Lisa Laco Bursary Fund at the Northern Nishnawbe Education Council.
The entire Acadia Broadcasting family is sending condolences to her loved ones.
