With the government now ready to issue a licence for a retail cannabis store in Thunder Bay, at least one local company is ready to apply.
D.J., from Kia Ora Kannabis, explains right now the East Victoria Avenue store only sells cannabis accessories.
He tells us they have been “working hard” to make sure they meet all the specifications required for a cannabis store.
While the stores will be chosen through a lottery system, the store manager says even if they are not successful this time around they will keep trying until they are.
