Police remain at the scene of what they say was an overnight assault in Current River.
A 23 year old man is charged after they say he and a 22 year old woman had a fight.
Police report they have charged the man with breaking and entering, assault with a weapon and mischief.
He remains in hospital while the woman was treated and released.
They tell us the incident happened on Grenville Avenue between Adams and Marion around 4 am.
Officers say the two people were known to each other.
