33 Year Old Charged With Mac’s Robbery

A 33-year-old man is facing charges after police say a Mac’s Convenience Store was robbed.

They were called to the location on Red River Road just before 1 o’clock in the morning today.

A 25-year-old employee told police that a man had come into the store with his face covered, holding a knife and demanding cash.

The man left with the money heading towards Picton Avenue, but police picked up a suspect on that street and arrested him.

He’s in custody after a court appearance.
