The Mayor is pursuing legal action over offensive online comments using the city’s legal team, to the dismay of taxpayers who say he should be paying out of his own pocket.
Keith Hobbs says, though the comments go beyond political criticism having been directed towards both him and his family, he adds it’s a direct result of him being a member of Council.
He says specific comments were directed towards the Mayor of Thunder Bay, and not “Keith Hobbs the citizen,” and for that reason, the city’s legal department should suffice.
