Public service employees have no more money to give.
That’s the message approximately 50 local jail workers had for Council at its post-budget public meetings last night.
OPSEU president Mike Lundy says with a six-year wage freeze on the horizon, members are not comfortable with any increase to the tax levy.
He adds strikes and labour disruptions are bad for local communities like ours.
When asked what should be cut from the budget, Lundy said all he wants is for the city to bring his message to the Wynne government.
