Plow Operator Struck

Marathon OPP are looking for the driver of a pick up truck following a hit a run on Highway 17 west of White River. Just before 2:30 Wednesday afternoon, a 47-year old operator of an MTO plow truck was struck on the side of the road while she checked her vehicle in a slow plow turn around.
The driver of the pick up left the scene and continued eastbound towards White River/Wawa. The vehicle is described as a 1990 to 2000 style pick up truck, gold in colour, with possible damage to the passenger side. The plow operator was taken to a local hospital to be treated for her injuries. Anyone with information is asked to call Marathon OPP at 1-807-229-0220 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
