Former CFL defensive lineman Stephen Anderson now has his Grey Cup Championship ring back, six years after it was stolen in Thunder Bay.
City Police were alerted to the theft in August of 2013, and earlier this month it was found by a metal melting company in Toronto.
Police were able to confirm the ring belonged to Anderson, and returned it to him.
Anderson played a key role in the Calgary Stampeders’ 1998 Grey Cup win.
