Gas Prices Shoot Up Over A Dollar

After a brief respite from higher gasoline prices, the cost has jumped to over a dollar a litre once again in Thunder Bay.

Stations started increasing their prices to about $1.09.9 a litre Thursday afternoon.

That is an increase of around 10 cents over what it was when the day started.

The price has been increasing steadily since last month when it was in the mid-eighties range.

Prices in Winnipeg, Ottawa and Toronto range from 82 to 89 cents per litre.
