Firefighters, Police Probe East End Fire

Nobody was hurt in a house fire in the East End last night.

Around ten o’clock, Thunder Bay Fire Rescue were called to Connolly Street at McLaughlin Street where they found heavy smoke and flames at the back of a home.

Four people had already escaped, and firefighters rescued a woman and two children who were trapped upstairs.

The fire is under investigation by firefighters and Thunder Bay Police.
