District Adds 10 COVID-19 Infections

Active COVID-19 cases are climbing, with ten new infections in the Thunder Bay District.

That brings the district to 74 active cases.

The District Health Unit says four of the new cases are in First Nation communities, three are in Thunder Bay and the surrounding area, and the rest are in other communities in the district.

All but two were infected through close contact, one had no known exposure, and one person travelled outside the region.

Another three people are now testing negative and are considered resolved.

Provincially, Ontario is reporting 3,338 cases.
