Dementia Conference To Inspire Hope

People living with dementia or their caregivers are invited out to a new two-day conference discussing the disease.

Lakehead University’s Centre for Education and Research on Aging and Health is helping put on the event, and Dr. Nisha Sutherland tells us it’s an excellent opportunity for everyone to talk and share ideas.

“This conference will bring together people with dementia and their care partners across the region to connect and share their experiences of challenging the stigma associated with dementia and living with hope amidst dementia.”

The conference is being held on September 22nd at Urban Abbey and September 23rd at the Best Western Norwester.
