The arrival of fall not only brings back school but cooler weather which is when head lice tend to breed.
Public health nurse Laura Prodanyk has a piece of advice for parents of kids going back to school.
“It’s really beneficial if they can catch it nice and early. Don’t wait for a letter to come home. Don’t wait for there to be a lot of itching. Once a week have a look.”
