Another COVID-19 outbreak is being declared, this time at a medical boarding facility.
The Health Unit says two people associated with Wequedong Lodge of Thunder Bay have tested positive.
They confirmed that at least one of those people was infected at the facility, but not in the resident care areas.
The lodge is ramping up surveillance and is working to limit the spread of the virus.
The lodge provides accommodations for First Nations, Métis and Inuit people who are staying in Thunder Bay for medical services.
