Concern Over Privacy At Balmoral Station

Concern from Thunder Bay police about a lack of privacy for the public when conducting business in the front lobby of the Balmoral Station.

Acting Chief Sylvie Hauth maintains more space is needed, especially when standing in line or being assisted by an officer.

She says when using new software that has bigger fonts on the screens, it’s easier for other people to see an individual’s business, and that needs to be dealt with.

Hauth adds they continue to look into a new building, with this considered a long term project.
