The provincial government is giving Confederation College 10 million dollars to support their technology education collaboration.
The hub is meant to support manufacturing and apprenticeship in Northwestern Ontario.
President Jim Madder says the funding is vital.
Madder adds it will allow them to graduate more students in manufacturing and have them stay in the area to work.
Madder adds he’s equally excited to hear the province will be making tuition free for low income students. (File photo)
