City Councillors are going to pick back up on reviewing the budget on Thursday.
They were expected to have the line by line examination of items in the budget completed tonight but decided to stop since they still have a number of contentious issues to discuss.
During tonight’s meeting an extra $961,000 was added to the budget to cover employee benefits.
City Manager Norm Gale had some good news for the City saying there’s $770, 000 coming back from the local services board.
The tax levy increase currently sits at 3.74 percent.
