Video of The Blues’ Amazing Gesture

This is so awesome to see. The defending Stanley Cup Champion St. Louis Blues are getting set to kick-off the new NHL season, but they had a very important stop to make first. After getting their insanely blingy Stanley Cup rings, players Colton Parayko and Alex Steen stopped by a special young lady’s house.

Laila Anderson, a Blues super fan who battles HLH, a rare auto-immune disease, was being isolated this past Spring due to her condition, but it was lifted in time for her to attend a Western Conference Finals game. She went on to become a symbol of Blues fandom and helped inspire the team through the playoffs, even taking to the ice and kissing Lord Stanley after the Blues’ Championship victory.

The team clearly appreciates Laila, so Colton and Alex bestowed her with an AMAZING gift. A Stanley Cup ring of her own! It’s practically bigger than the 11-year-old’s hand! The video is so heartwarming. You can watch it below.
