Alpha Court is celebrating 30 years of providing supportive housing services for those with mental health and addiction challenges in Thunder Bay.
Executive Director Nicole Latour is pleased with the progress it’s made in that time.
“We started with just two apartment buildings and four case managers,” Latour points out, “Now we’re up to 35 staff. We provide services to over 400 people, and housing to 170.”
The director adds more provincial funding is always welcome, so they can find more housing for those in need.
