Variants Of Concern With Three New Cases

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit continues to keep a hand on the number of COVID-19 cases.

Health officials report Monday three new cases, which reflects the current day’s cases as well as Sundays.

However there are five cases that could be one of the coronavirus variants.

The health unit notes that the active count stands at 29.

The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre confirms just one of the seven patients that are being treated for COVID-19 is in the Intensive Care Unit.

Ontario has 2,170 new cases for Monday, and four deaths.
