The district’s COVID-19 cases have shot up by 82, bringing the Thunder Bay District Health Unit to 435 active cases.
That includes 14 from the Walford Retirement Home outbreak, and 22 who got it from someone in their own household.
Another 70 cases have resolved since yesterday’s update.
At the Regional Hospital, there are 46 patients admitted who have tested positive for COVID-19. Of those, 14 are in the Intensive Care Unit.
Provincially, Ontario is reporting 1,371 new cases.
