UPDATE, Tuesday: Tiger Woods Recovering Following Crash

UPDATE 9am, Tuesday:

Golfer Tiger Woods is awake and recovering after emergency surgery following a car crash in California.

The golfer’s agent, Mark Steinberg, confirmed to Golf Digest that Woods sustained multiple leg injuries in the single-vehicle rollover around 7:40 a.m. local time.

He had surgery on his lower leg and ankle, which included putting in a rod, pins and screws.

His vehicle sustained major damage.
