Schools will be closed when students return from the winter break on January 4.
The province says remote learning for all elementary and high school students will resume in the new year.
For students in the Thunder Bay District Health Unit catchment area, in-person instruction can resume on January 11.
For most of Ontario, virtual learning will continue until January 25.
Child care centres and home-based child care services will remain open.
