Home Break-In Leads To Charges

Charges have been laid against a Thunder Bay resident after a weekend break in that lead to a physical confrontation.

Police tell us they were called before 6 o’clock Saturday morning, to an Ogden Street house, concerning a situation involving a possible gun.

Police found the 30-year-old accused, who did not know those living there, broke in and started shouting. That lead to a confrontation.

After a brief struggle, an arrest was made, and a pellet gun was found.

The accused remains in custody after a bail hearing.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
