PSW Receives First COVID-19 Vaccine

A personal support worker in Toronto is the first person to get the COVID-19 vaccine in Canada.

Anita Quidangen received a shot of the Pfizer vaccine at the University Health Network.

Health Minister Patty Hajdu calls it really good news for everyone across the country but has a caution.

“We also have to keep protecting each other and one worry I would like to share…Is that Canadians think this is just around the corner that COVID-19 is over…this is going to help,”

The health minister adds we have to protect our family and community as we wait for our turn at getting the vaccine.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
