Thunder Bay-Rainy River’s MP is encouraging you to get out and explore the region.
Marcus Powlowski released a statement promoting travel and tourism in the northwest between communities.
The MP and doctor admits travel carries some risk of spreading COVID-19, but that the risk is quite low at the moment and travel within in the northwest would be best for a summer getaway.
Powlowski added travellers should wear masks in public spaces and monitor themselves when they return if they start to feel ill.
