An historic organization in the city is getting set to decide its future direction.
Members of the Finlandia Assocation will be meeting on Wednesday to hear what the future of the organization holds as rumours of financial issues have hit social media.
The association and its building on Bay Street have been the centre for Thunder Bay’s Finnish community for over 100 years.
It is also home to the popular Hoito resaturant which is currently closed because of COVID-19.
Members will be told what the current situation is and the board will take its directions from there.
