Province To Give Money To Manufacturers

There’s financial help now available to manufacturing companies in the province of Ontario who want to help produce much needed COVID-19 supplies.

The Ontario government is launching a new $50 million Ontario Together Fund to help businesses provide innovative solutions or retool their operations in order to manufacture essential medical supplies and equipment, including gowns, coveralls, masks, face shields, testing equipment and ventilators.

This new Fund will support the development of proposals submitted by businesses and individuals through the Ontario Together web portal.

Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, Vic Fedeli says they need manufacturing companies to come on board.

“This will be available across the province and will provide immediate resources,” Fedeli said.
