Among the list of closures due to the COVID virus crisis is the Terry Fox Visitor Information Centre on Highway 11-17.
City Tourism Manager Paul Pepe tells us the decision was made to help with growing concerns around COVID-19 and the
recommendation by the Ontario Chief Medical officer and Health Canada to practice social distancing.
Pepe explains that travel councillors remain on-site to respond to visitor telephone calls and email inquiries for
information.
