Virtual Gigs

With so many concerts being cancelled, bars closing and live music gatherings being postponed it can be pretty difficult to get your live music fix these days. Last night, the Dropkick Murphy’s (a punk band from Massachusetts) streamed their annual St. Patrick’s Day concert from an empty studio to living rooms around the world. I’ve seen quite a few bands and artists that I follow on Instagram talking about possibly doing this sort of thing as well, but how do you keep track? Well, I just found a link to a site called Gigs Guide that is doing it’s best to keep track of these things for us! At this point, there isn’t a lot of artists listed, but as things continue, I suspect we’ll see more.

If you are jonesing for some live music and want to have your own living room concert, head here!
