Don’t Bring Kids To School If Strike: Board

A heads up for parents of students in the Lakehead Public School Board if there is a one day strike tomorrow by teachers.

Spokesperson Bruce Nugent is advising parents do not drop their kids off at the school as it will be closed.

“If students do show up, parents will be called and will be asked to come and pick up their students.”

He is asking parents to be ready to make other plans in the event of a strike.

The Lakehead School Board official adds all school-based daycares will remain open.

We’re still waiting for word from the Catholic School Board.
