No Injuries In North Star Air ‘Accident’

No one was injured after a North Star Air cargo plane was involved in “an accident near Sachigo Lake.” The airline says it happened around 9:10 this morning.

The plane was a Basler BT-67.

Officials add “there were no passengers on board the aircraft and both flight crew members” were not injured. They say “the Transportation Safety Board and Transport Canada have been notified and will be leading the investigation to determine the cause.”

Airline officials indicate they “will be cooperating fully.”

Sachigo Lake is located 425 kilometres north of Sioux Lookout.
