It’s a chance for Canada’s Premiers to put their heads together today.
All 13 provincial and territorial leaders will meet in Mississauga this morning at 8:30. The gathering called the Council of the Federation meets twice a year.
This is their first official meeting since the federal election. The Premiers are set to review the relationship between the federal, provincial, and territorial governments.
Chair of the Council, Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe, says “Our aim is to find ways to work together to achieve shared priorities and address some of the regional concerns in our country.”
