Thunder Bay hockey fans will have to wait a little bit longer to get their first fix of the season for local action.
The city tells us the system which maintains the ice surface at Fort William Gardens is not working properly, as repairs over the summer have been delayed.
The LU Thunderwolves therefore won’t be playing until September 27th, against the Guelph Gryphons.
