A local charity group that sends medical equipment overseas is reaching out to Zimbabwe.
They have shipped a 40-foot ocean container full of supplies for 3,000 orphans living in the land-locked country in south Africa.
Medical Equipment Modernization Opportunity, or MEMO, says the young people are being trained to become self-supporting by learning sewing and wood working skills.
The container weighing 24,000 lbs will contain supplies to support all of these activities.
